I’ve also had a laptop shut down immediately after spilling something on it. Turns out a lot of them have a safety mechanism nowadays that if liquid is detected it auto-shuts off. So I wouldn’t worry yet bb, there’s still a solid chance it’ll be ok.

No mine did that too. Just give a few days honey. I hope it all works out for you. Also, for future reference if you drink around it a lot, there’s skins you can get to cover it. I just don’t drink anything near mine anymore. Once is enough lol.
