Hello! I saw that one of your favorite books was "A Fault in Our Stars" and have been debating reading that book. Would you recommend it for a cross country flight I'm taking? Or is too emotionally devastating? Thanks! :) -Elle

I would HIGHLY recommend it for life and your soul, but it is very emotionally devastating. I SOBBED during the last quarter of the book. I would say read half of it or so, but honestly, it’s one of those books I literally could not put down. And I mean, I read it all in one night and stayed up until like 3 in the morning to finish it.
But I would recommend it for reading alone, in your room, without wearing mascara.

- The Fault in Our Stars by John Green - obviously. Still can’t think about it without crying.
- The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

- Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
Then either the Jessica Darling series by Megan McCafferty or basically all of Sarah Dessen’s books (namely Lock and Key, Just Listen, or This Lullaby). AND Anna and the French Kiss aka the only book I read twice this year.
